more Open House

John and Colleen Booker are admiring Milan. Milan is a seal tortie point Himalayan with lynx coat pattern. She loves to be admired and she loves my friend Lise, who is holding her.

Milan has seven kittens that will be five weeks old tomorrow. She is such a good mom! I bottle feed all seven little kittens twice a day and Milan does the rest. It's great - moms lose significant weight during the weeks they nurse their babies. Because I supplement feed the babies, Milan is seven pounds and that's the weight she was the day after the babies were born.
My friend Sheila Andrew is holding court with Charlotte. Charlotte is so pleased - so is Sheila!

Sheila and I are both 'Raging Grannies' an older women's non-violent protest group who voice their concern about social responsibility issues through song. If you are interested in finding out more, check out: raginggrannies.org

Linda Beebe came to visit and see her nephew. This little fellow will be going to live with Linda's sister Martha. Lucky kitten, lucky Martha!

This is one of Milan's babies. They are all very snuggly!

When Connie Steeves came to visit she brought her 'brag book'. There were pictures of her Quincy a blue point Himalayan and her grandchildren in Ottawa.

I put a small new toy on Elisabeth's head. She loved it and went around the house like the queen. I think Lis recognizes Connie.

The Open House rocked!
