It is my goal to produce the ultimate companion cat that will live a long and comfortable life. I have taken great care to purchase my breeding stock from registered catteries who are reputable breeders who keep their cats as house pets and raise their kittens"underfoot".
My cats have been blood tested and are negative for FIP and feline leukemia (which is contagious in cats). Their vaccinations are kept up to date. All my adults are parasite free and have been parasite free for more than ten generations. I do not allow anyone to visit my home with their cat - neither do I allow my male cat to breed any female other than the six adult females that I own. In other words, I maintain a closed cat colony which is essential for good health.
My cats do not have a "caved in" face with a pug type nose. I feel strongly that it is wrong to breed and perpetuate this fashion of cat - they suffer from chronic eye tearing and often have eye infections. They often have upper respiratory tract infections and a "snotty nose". They are prone to pneumonia and similar infections and have a shorter life span.
