Kitchen window politics

Paul came up to visit and have lemonade after mowing the lawns. He sat in the corner by the window. Sparrow is being patted, Milan on the floor is jealous, the little baby Alice is on the blue bed and Tangerine is leaning out of the bottom shelf of the wicker house. Tangerine is jealous that the baby is in 'her area'!

There is never a dull moment.

Sparrow has fallen asleep, and  my lovely, sweet Tangerine is still  grumpy about Alice. She says no kittens are allowed on the window seat.

Plum doesn't mind the baby Alice in her area. She is grooming and caring for Alice, even though Plum is not her mother.

Alice is a sweet little female red classic tabby Persian. She will have copper eyes as an adult.

Everyone has fallen asleep and all is quiet once again.

I feel as though I am living with a pride of lions today!
