** Recipe for kitten formula (for supplementing babies or as milk replacement for orphaned babies)

Kitten Formula

With a wisk mix three envelopes of Knox Gelatin in to 350ml of warm water
Add two egg yolks and one tsp of honey
Mix well
Add one container of Astro Balkan Yogurt (a white container with a red cow)

Stir well and refrigerate (lasts for 14 days)

*Please use Astro brand  Balkan Yogurt available at most grocery stores. It has natural acidopulous culture and 3.5% milk fat both of which are necessary for the babies.

A pet nursing bottle and nipples suitable for kittens are available from most veterinary hospitals.

This recipe is 'just magic'. I supplement every kitten from birth until they are weaned and the mothers really enjoy the help.

My adult cats get a spoonful of plain Astro Balkan Yogurt in a dish every few days a a nutritional treat.
