Plum just loves her Lamb!

Plum doesn't like any discussion about weaning her four little kittens. She sleeps with her lamby when she is unhappy. She kneads it, she plays with it's ears and she sleeps on it too. It's her favourite stuffed toy. It's such a favourite that it gets washed every week! 'Lamby Gund' and my Maytag are good friends! It was a gift from Cindy and John Eagles.

Plum was losing too much weight. She loves to nurse and cuddle her kittens about 22 hours out of every 24. She will even wake them up and ask them to nurse. So, she is now restricted to being with them four times a day for an hour each time. She is very glum about my decision to restrict her access to the babies! She makes sure she faces me when she naps so I'll 'get the message'. She is the most lovely cat and I love her to death.
