This is Cruikshanks cat hair being used for felting

 Breanna is allergic to wool so I save cat hair for her to use for her felting projects! She is making an owl.

Cruikshanks was my beloved red Persian male cat and the father of Firefly, Tangerine and Plum. He retired last year and is in his retirement family home now.

 If any picture was ever worth a thousand words it's this one! I surprised Breanna when I took this photo. She is using a sharp felting needle to compact the cat hair to make her owl.

Somehow the owl got a thick tail! The sombrero is from my favourite Mexican restaurant 'Margueritas' in Orono Maine (near Bangor). I was so pleased to give it to my nieces.
