The Princess and the Pea

Here is Sparrow kneading her new plush pad - there are four of them piled one on top of the other like the old fairytale.

Several years ago at the Playhouse, I saw 'Into the Woods' by Stephen Sondheim Vivian Zelazny played the lead and she went to bed on a huge pile of mattresses! The pea on a mattress far down in the pile still kept her awake.

Her sister Sandy Zelazny is our cat sitter.
