The mothers have decided on 'open concept' housing!

They watch entirely too much HGTV. They decided on more floor room, and an open top, after we tried several different things!

Oh, and by the way, they can see the TV better from this crate!

The heating pad cord is coming out of the door. Kittens have to be warm or they won't survive.
The crate sits on my bedside table. They are so much happier when we all sleep together!

Khal and I did go to see Reel Injuns at the Fredericton Public Library. It was a thought provoking film about the affect of the film industry, over the decades, on our perception of First Nations aboriginal people. Librarians Patricia Knockwood, Leslie Cockburn and  Rosalind Maston presented - about twenty people were there. Several friends went too - including Lorna Drew, Eric Stephenson, Nancy Beltrandi, Mary Brown-Johnston.
Plum is so happy with the new housing that she is squinting her eyes! She is so cute.

I think I have:
3 female blue point Himalayans with lynx coat pattern
1 male cream point Himalayan with lynx coat pattern
1 male cream tabby Persian
1 female blue classic tabby Persian
1 female blue mackerel tabby Persian

As adults the Himalayans will have blue eyes and the Persians will have copper eyes.
