On my trip last week, I bought a new male cat for breeding. Bocelli is seventeen months old and named after Andre Bocelli my favourite Italian tenor! He is a blue point Himalayan with lynx coat pattern.
The cats do not come in heat in the fall. Historically, when cats lived without owners they didn't have litters in winter. In the wild there was more chance of raising kittens in the spring and summer. My cats have their last heat in late summer and then not again until several days after the days start to get longer late in December. Bocelli should have kittens at the beginning of March.
