Every Tuesday and Thursday evening Fredericton presents a concert downtown. It's a very popular thing for residents and tourists alike. There are many children.
Some children get lost, some dance, some get splinters, some laugh and some cry. It's a bit noisy too!
Fredericton is known as the city of the stately elms. We have lost many on private property, but have tried very hard to save the elms in public places. This one dwarfs the huge York Sunbury Museum. Notice the three year old in 'Dorothy from Kansas' shoes.
Here she is trying to push it over!
The dancers were really inspiring to the children who 'danced the evening away'.
Spencer and Breanna went to the cannon display where Breanna got a huge splinter! (see the 'Oh Shivers a splinter' post) Eleanor and Ruth (Spencer's mom) had usually one lost child at any given time.
During boring parts, the kids stuck maple keys on their noses and called them Pinocchio! Below is Spencer's little brother - he was lost a lot.
Khal and Ruth looked for him a lot- even up trees!
This is Ruth, Spencer's mom. Her maple key nose is quite long! I wonder what it all means.
Grace had really good luck getting her's to stay on.
It was a lovely evening. We were all very tired - I think it was our seventh activity of the day.
This little dancer was the cutest thing! What a blast to live in this city. There is always so much to do regardless of the season.
