Ugh! we got a Furminator!

Lise is showing me how to use the new cat brush. Firefly is our guinea pig. Firefly is such a good sport and dutifully staying on the arm of the sofa while Lise worked on her coat.

Here's Lise whispering 'sweet nothings' in her ear. Firefly just loves to be talked to like this.

This gorgeous new fushia coloured orchid  became Tangerine's play toy later in the evening and is now 'up high on the dresser'. I was so excited when I bought it today - it had three fronds and eleven buds when I brought it home. It's missing a few buds now. Tangerine did not apologize. I got the impression from her that she feels items that aren't cat toys should be clearly marked!
