Newman is eating and drinking well, is litter trained, sleeping all night and is happy to leave his mom. I use the above criteria to determine when a kitten is ready for his new home.
Royal Canin sent sweet little red closed cell foam bags with a special food dish and other goodies for each kitten. I add a brush, food and a couple of other goodies too.
Each new owner brings an empty water bottle to fill up with water from my kitchen. Kittens are used to this water.
