She has two heating pads in the crate. I put in a fresh polar fleece bedding piece twice a day. Notice her bowl of yogurt - each mother eats about a cup a day. It's such good nutrition and helps with milk production too.
I use the flashlight to see in the crate at night. I do a 'head count' a couple of times each night.
