Fredericton Raging Grannies will sing at CCNB

The Fredericton gaggle of the Raging Grannies are singing Saturday evening at the Conservation Council of New Brunswick's Fundraising Auction at the Crowne Plaza. It's a major fundraiser for them. We are a feminist protest group of old women and we only 'do protest'. We have made an exception for the CCNB. Below is one of the songs for tomorrow evening.

Tune: Bless Them All

It must go! It must go!
That nuclear plant at Lepreau
Fukushima's three meltdowns, they happened my friend
We're not ready yet for the ultimate end
When the pipes have all rusted away
The killing pollution will stay
And pass radiation to each generation
So our great-grandchildren will pay

It must go! It must go!
That nuclear plant at Lepreau
There's wind and there's water
And that's what we oughta
Be using or else we are going to go
When your're out for a walk in the park
Your partner may glow in the dark
These rays are effective as a contraceptive
And kissing may give off a spark
