It was Khal's birthday yesterday

It's Khal's birthday! We had a fabulous evening. Grace was very excited.

She gave him 48 packages of Excel gum. I gave him five gallon jars of freeze dried wild mushrooms - what do you give a guy that has everything!

He adored the soccer book in the foreground. It was from Firefly, Friea, Tangerine, Plum, Natalie Dessay and Sarah Brightman. The card they gave him is sitting on top.

He is a big Tin Tin fan. He got a T-shirt and a book of three Tin Tin adventures.

And then we had a late dinner. Grace was sure her lobster moved. 'It's whisker moved' she said.

She ended up with a pork chop and pasta.

We spent a long time at dinner. It was wonderful.

She was really concerned about the lobsters! She has eaten lobster at home with her family in Nova Scotia before but it wasn't in the shell. Oh man!
