It's going to be a waiting day!

Here is Firefly, very pregnant and patiently waiting for her kittens to arrive. She is a kick! Her right front leg is down over the side of her birthing crate. She stayed like this for several hours last evening.

Perhaps they will be Easter bunnies and arrive today! Many Easter's ago a litter was born - their names were Laura Secord, Fanny Farmer, Ganong, and Nielson. The new owners kept their names except Ganong who became 'Tommy'.

I often name the babies, but I don't mind the new owners changing their names.
